Rev. Sharon Coody, CHP, CI
A long time Texas resident, I attended undergraduate and post graduate classes, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Texas Woman's University. My original focus was on children and adults with learning disabilities and children who had emotional problems interfering with effective learning. I gravitated to "out of the box" solutions to some of the problems my students had, studying NLP extensively in the 1980s.

As I started working more with adults, I realized there must be balance between the emotional, the physical, and the spiritual.
So, eventually, I became an ordained, non-denominational minister offering pastoral counseling and spritual growth and development to individual clients and couples. I am also a Certified Hypnosis Practitioner and Instructor and have been using hypnosis for more than twenty years to affect positive change to enhance people's lives. All these disciplines, along with a degree in education with specialities for working with emotional, behavioral, learning, and physical disabilities, enable me to work with a wide variety of individuals to facilitate change.
In the past few years I have been called upon to develop mystical and psychic abilities. I view these as gifts, the same as someone might who develops an innate ability to sing. And as I developed these abilities, many strange and

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I have spent much of my life in this area. I graduated from North Texas University with a degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology and continued there for graduate work in Counseling, Over the years I also became an ordained non-denominational minister, worked in business, taught school, and was employed in the mental health field working with mentally handicapped adults.
I have been interested in not only mental health but spiritual development, as well, for as long as I can remember. During the 1960’s a friend introduced me to Tarot. At that time, I saw using Tarot as wanting a magical, “quick fix” to life’s problems. I believed, and still do, that any technique or person promising a “quick fix” cure has unrealistic expectations. But forty years later, after living for some time in California and in Guatemala, I not only returned to the Dallas area, but I also took another look at the symbolism in the Tarot cards. Today the cards have become part of the journey I began so many years ago.
During my last semester of college I came across Edgar Cayce’s book, Edgar Cayce on Reincarnation, in the campus bookstore. The beliefs (perhaps the truths) in that one book changed my life and started me on a life-long path of learning, healing and spiritual study.
wonderous experiences came my way. I began to channel (other than the specific use I had already developed to work with my private clients) in ways I never had before. As I strengthened my connection with Spirit, I was reminded of the feeling I had as a 12 year old girl - being confirmed in the faith - truly feeling - truly knowing - I was One with the Spirit. I have been guided to begin this church. But it IS just a beginning. The Living Spiritual Pathways Church - and I - honor anyone's connection to Spirit and their unique, individual way of expressing it and living it. So the Church is really yours. And you will be the preachers, rabbis, ministers, spiritual teachers.
Of the past 18 years, I have spent 15 years serving on the board of directors of Humanity United in Giving Internationally, Inc., a non-profit corporation working in the United States as well as several foreign countries to assist disadvantaged families and abused, neglected, or orphaned children. Through the Church, I would like to expand this work, focusing on seniors and at-risk families in the North Texas area.
